    President · RANZCOG trainee · He/Him

    Alex is an unaccredited trainee in Obstetrics & Gynaecology based in Sydney. Originally from London, he moved just before the pandemic and Australia is now home for him. Alex is keen to advocate for rainbow doctors and medical students by collaborating with medical colleges and universities to improve training and education around LGBTQIA+ issues across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

  • Oliver Gregory

    Vice President · Junior Medical Officer · He/Him

    Oliver is a junior medical officer currently based in Tasmania. He's passionate about the representation of and support for gender and sexually diverse doctors. He aspires to improve the knowledge of practitioners on gender issues and make workplace and patient interactions as affirming as possible.

  • Rosie Swanton

    Treasurer · Junior Medical Officer · She/Her

    Rosie is a junior doctor in New South Wales. She came to medicine after a zigzagging career through psychology, youth mental health, social media and drug and alcohol research. Rosie really just wants everyone to have access to comprehensive and compassionate healthcare, and is working with Pride in Medicine to help make that happen for her fellow LGBTQIA+ community members.

  • Megan Kelly

    Secretary · Junior Medical Officer · She/Her

    After over a decade nursing in the Intensive Care Unit at The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Megan completed the Graduate Medicine program at The University of Wollongong and is now a junior doctor at Barwon Health. She has been involved in Pride in Medicine since its inception and is passionate about providing safe and affirming care to gender and sexually diverse patients.

  • Isabelle Barker

    Isabelle is an intern currently based in Victoria. She is passionate about queer health, particularly in the area of gender affirming care. She aspires to deliver inclusive and affirming healthcare to all her patients and contribute to making the medical world safer and more accessible for LGBTQIA+ patients and their families. She hopes to continue making PiM’s education and advocacy work accessible to healthcare providers at all stages.

    Events Officer · Emergency Medicine Advanced Trainee · He/Him

    Alasdair is an Emergency Medicine Advanced Trainee, from the UK but currently based in Melbourne. He has been involved with Pride in Medicine since it's inception and worked to produce the 2023 Mardi Gras parade float entry.

    James is a Sydney-based GP with over a decade of experience across both primary care and hospital settings. He is passionate about advocating for the LGBTQI+ community and is committed to fostering a more inclusive, supportive, and open environment for all individuals throughout their medical journey.

    Nik is a junior medical officer currently based at the Austin Hospital in Victoria with aspirations to specialise in Radiology. He is focused on improving queer medical education across all domains of the healthcare field, aiming to create a welcoming, safe, and well-informed space for queer-identifying patients and healthcare staff alike in our workplaces.

    Teddy is a resident medical officer based in Tasmania. They’re passionate about using their training and lived experience to advocate for transgender healthcare and rights. They still don't know what they want to be when they grow up, but they know that whatever they do, they want to continue caring for the queer community.

    Jessica is a junior doctor in Victoria. She is very passionate about equity and compassion in healthcare and has a particular interest in bioethics and preventative medicine. She hopes her work in Pride in Medicine can make the medical field a more welcome place for her LGTBQIA+ colleagues and patients alike.

    Steph graduated from the University of Notre Dame and is now a junior doctor living in Naarm. They are passionate about the inclusion of LGBTQIA+ content in medical education and creating safe and inclusive learning environments for junior doctors.

    Sam is a final year medical student at UNSW with a strong passion for improving equity and diversity in healthcare. He is committed to the inclusion of LGBTQIA+ content in the medical curriculum to support better outcomes for all patients and the education of future doctors.

    Razzaq is a third-year medical student based at Logan Hospital with a passion for primary care and sexual health. With a sharp eye on equity and access, he's especially driven to bring safe LGBTQIA+ healthcare to rural and remote communities across Australia. As a medical student officer, he is committed to spreading awareness and interest in queer health among future medical practitioners.
